Aerial IQ designs and manufactures tethered UAV surveillance systems for defence and law-enforcement deployments. 

We are hiring a Quality Control Engineer to drive non-conformance, CAPA, and quality documentation across UAV production and post-delivery, working to ISO 9001 / AS9100. 

You will run the non-conformance process end to end, lead root-cause analysis on product and process failures, and hold the quality line on a floor that ships to demanding customers. 

The role suits someone rigorous, evidence-led, and comfortable holding a position under delivery pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Own non-conformance and CAPA,  QA/QC planning & Documentation
  • Run root-cause and failure analysis
  • Control non-conforming material (MRB and scrap)
  • Manage tool and equipment calibration
  • Oversee UAV battery handling and storage
  • Lead Kaizen and process improvement
  • Maintain ISO 9001 / AS9100 documentation

Must Have

  • Engineering diploma or degree (Electrical / EEE / E&TC / Mechanical)
  • Ability to work from office / workshop / field location as required
  • 2+ yrs degree / 4+ yrs diploma in UAV or related manufacturing QA
  • Hands-on RCA: 8D, 5-Whys, 7 QC tools
  • NCR / CAPA / MRB process experience

Nice to have

  • UAV battery (LiPo / Li-ion) handling and storage controls
  • PFMEA, Poka-Yoke, 5S applied in production
  • AS9100 audit exposure
  • Defence or aerospace airworthiness documentation experience
